Funny cycling videos for your Festive 500 come down

It's the last day of the year and of course it's raining on the coast, with 30mph winds. In fact it's a day not too dissimilar to every other day since the blue skys of December 21st when I cycled back to Portsmouth for Christmas.

After the ride back I had a good two days of Christmas shopping and wrapping presents before the festive 500, and now that it's over, with New Years not exactly being a time for celebration for me (even with all the wind and rain we have had here over the past few days) I'm finding myself thinking about cycling.

This Tumblr kept Hattie and I creased up laughing on the sofa for a whole evening a couple of weeks back. His page is made up of loads of short bits from classic films and videos that he then relates to cycling.

Nick Hand & Southsea Breakfast Club

Hattie's Mum Ruth Parke and friend Annette met Nick Hand on his around the coast trip, and he did a brilliant short featuring an interview with them talking about their cycle breakfast club which he hosts on his website. They even got a special thanks in his book.

We love watching it and whether you're from Portsmouth or not I'm sure you will enjoy it too, especially if you like creature comforts.
